We recently added account validation functionality to we.ua. This allows us to verify that the account owner is a citizen of Ukraine and provides more security, responsibility, trust, and opportunities for the User of our Platform.
Each user can confirm their identity by concluding a written or electronic agreement on the provision of information services with "VUEY" LLC. To do this, fill out a simple form in the profile settings section and enter the necessary data: full name, personal identification number (TIN), email, or mobile phone to receive the Agreement.
You can obtain a paper Contract at a Nova Poshta or Ukrposhta branch (indicate the city and branch number in the confirmation application form). The contract will contain your Last Name, First Name, Patronymic and RNOKPP (TIN), which you will provide in the form on the website or the Platform application. Your identity will be additionally verified by the delivery service employees when delivering the letter. We will receive information from them about the delivery to the person specified in the Contract.
The electronic contract can be received in PDF format to the specified Email and signed using an electronic signature. Also, two-party signing is possible through the "Vchasno" service, if you have an account with them.
Optionally (if desired), we.ua Platform users can use government services and confirm their identity via the Diya mobile application. To do this, activate Diya.Signature in your Diya application and use the link in the Profile settings.
As a result of confirmation, you will receive a special mark in your Profile (blue checkmark) and the ability to create public channels, submit advertisements on your behalf, and many other additional features (especially for businesses).
Rest assured, we do not receive your passport photocopies or biometric passport data from the Diya or other government services. All that is used to uniquely identify you as a citizen is a securely encrypted response to the Diya server and your individual taxpayer code (TIN), which we store as an irreversible hash (encrypted only in one direction and is not suitable for decryption).
When re-authorizing through the Action, we will be able to compare the received hash with the hash in our database and clearly find out whether it is the same User or not and authorize him based on the received data.
Upon request from law enforcement, we can find a user by their RNOKPP (TIN) by subjecting the 10-digit code to the same irreversible encryption and obtaining a hash and comparing it with other hashes in our database of verified users. Neither we nor anyone else can find out what RNOKPP (TIN) a particular verified user has.
Not only registered users can confirm an existing account. New users can also create their account on our Platform using authorization via the Diya mobile application and activated Diya.Signature. In this case, the First and Last Name of the citizen provided by the Diya state service will be used. The Platform user can change their name to their own creative pseudonym. Neither mobile nor Email are provided by Diya, so these contact details will have to be entered additionally for further authorization and the possibility of restoring access to the account using them.
Each registered user can delete their account and be sure that their personal data (including the RNOKPP hash) will also be deleted from the we.ua Platform database forever.
Citizen data provided by the state enterprise Diya, upon authorization through Diya.Signature, is deleted immediately after decryption on our server and is not stored in decrypted form and is not transferred in any form to third parties.
Each user of the Platform can delete their account independently in the Settings section (you will need the account password), or contact our Support at support@we.ua
