All verified users of the we.ua Platform can place advertisements in the Update Feed, in News and in search results. They can also advertise any of their posts from their own Profile or Channel, as well as any of their own verified and published advertisements from the Bulletin Board.
Placing ads in different positions has different prices (from 50 UAH per day), and placement in the Feed also has additional options for better ad visibility.
All advertisements must take into account the basic rules of the Platform and the norms of current Ukrainian legislation regarding prohibited advertising content.
Prohibited goods and services:
- Narcotic substances and psychotropic substances;
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives and pyrotechnics;
- Tobacco products, including electronic cigarettes and liquids for them;
- Gambling and casinos, including online gambling;
- Dangerous goods and services that may cause harm to health or life;
- Goods and services that facilitate unscrupulous activities (e.g., hacking of computer systems, fraud).
Prohibited content:
- Inappropriate content that may shock, promotes hatred, intolerance, discrimination, and violence;
- Discriminatory statements and images;
- Information that encourages violation of the law or may cause harm to health, life, and the environment;
- Using means that influence the subconscious of consumers;
- Using state symbols without permission.
Restrictions on alcohol advertising:
- It is prohibited to advertise alcohol in any form;
- It is prohibited to place advertisements that promote a positive attitude towards alcohol consumption;
- Restrictions on advertising medical services:
- It is prohibited to advertise dangerous and questionable medical services and drugs;
- It is prohibited to advertise unrealistic health results;
- It is prohibited to advertise questionable drugs under the guise of medicines (biologically active supplements, weight loss products, etc.).
Other restrictions:
- It is prohibited to use the image of an individual without their consent;
- It is prohibited to use photographs of children without the consent of their parents or guardians;
- You cannot advertise products whose production is prohibited in Ukraine;
- You cannot advertise products that require a license without having one;
- It is prohibited to use in advertisements information that may harm the state of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, or other state bodies, its image and defense capability.
It is important to remember that advertising must comply with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation and not violate consumer rights.
